1/2 medium yellow onion, julienne cut
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, julienne cut
1/2 pound peeled shrimp, U.S. wild or farmed
2 T. honey
1 T. olive oil
Salt and pepper
Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper
1. Heat olive oil in large sauté pan over high heat. Add onions and sauté for one minute before adding the garlic and peppers.
2. When the garlic is fragrant add the shrimp (seasoned with salt and pepper plus cayenne if using) to the
pan. When the shrimp are just staring to turn pink add the honey and continue cooking until the shrimp
are done. Serve with couscous, rice, or noodles.
